Join Us: Youth Tobacco Prevention Day
January 26, 2026

United Churches of Olympia
110 11th Ave SE, Ste. 210, Olympia, WA 98501
9:00am - 3:00 pm

Youth advocates from all over the state will gather in Olympia for a day dedicated to learning and advocacy. We will start the day with training sessions focused on our tobacco policy priorities, followed by meetings with your senator and representatives at the Capitol building.

This year we're prioritizing legislation to increase the cigarette tax and funding commercial tobacco prevention and cessation programs to keep Washington's kids from becoming addicted to tobacco products.

We need your voice to make sure legislators know how critical these policies are for safeguarding the next generation.

No prior advocacy experience is required. Just bring your enthusiasm to learn and make a positive impact on the health of our state!

Lunch and snacks provided

At this event you will...

  • Meet with other youth from around the state who care about the impacts of tobacco use

  • Participate in advocacy training on WA specific tobacco policies

  • Talk with your legislators!
